Nie jestem botem

The technological progress is strongly influenced by selfish business desires and the enormous extension of functionalities and data volumes lead to the effect, that users are shock-frozen by too many options while using this modern tools.

Jasielski and Prohaska use this strange evolution of technologies as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and their machines-related-artworks demonstrate alternatives, how to work against these currents or intentionally ignore their effects.

Most of the presented works are build around physical phenomena, which can’t be seen and measured by the audience by first sight. Among them are new, site-specific, installations, such as “Play Time” by Prohaska and “Paper Clock” of Jasielski will be shown. Their core property and also main strategy of the artist is a heavy portion of humour.

The main message of the this exhibition could be: There is Hope for our machines, just help, in abstract acting with them!
