Playtest and talk
Austrian Game Dev Night
With Sebastian Uitz (Fire Totem Games) and Benjamin Hanussek (PJAIT Game Lab)
Organisation: Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw
Partner: Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, PJAIT Game Lab

Join us for the Austrian Cultural Forum's first ”Austrian Game Dev Night”. This series of events offers you the best of video games – a chance to play them and learn about their creation, with a focus on Austrian video games! Our first session features Sebastian Uitz from Fire Totem Games, a Carinthian studio currently working on their game A Webbing Journey. At our event, you will have the opportunity to playtest the game for a full day and chat with its creator. Additionally, in the evening, Sebastian will give an exciting talk about the creation of his game, his career as a developer, and provide insight into the emerging Austrian game industry.

A Webbing Journey is a heartwarming 3D adventure game that lets players step into the charming world of a cute little spider on a quest to find flowers for a romantic spider date.

After completing his project, he founded PJAIT Game Lab together with Prof. Ewa Satalecka, Dean of the Faculty of New Media Arts at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. The project focuses on exploring teaching methods in game design and supporting students in their careers as future game developers and designers.
