Culture Jam: Austria 2025 – Gala
Organizers: Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Austrian Cultural Forum Warsaw

Under the theme “Myths & Magic,” young game development teams spent several weeks creating games inspired by Austria’s cultural heritage. From the dragon of Klagenfurt to the mysteries of the Untersberg, each project offers a personal interpretation of motifs rooted in mythology, history, and landscape.

Culture Jam: Austria 2025 is a joint initiative of the Austrian Cultural Forum Warsaw and PJATK, supported by an international team of industry professionals. The gala evening marks the festive conclusion of this creative journey – from initial ideas to playable prototypes.

The event opens with a playtesting session, during which guests can explore the games, meet the developers, and vote for their favorite project. This is followed by short stage pitches by all teams. The evening concludes with an award ceremony celebrating the most compelling concepts.
