Culture Jam Showcase: Frau Perchta is an interactive evening dedicated to games, young creativity and Austrian folklore as a source of inspiration for contemporary game design.

The focus of the evening will be Frau Perchta, the winning project of Culture Jam: Myths & Magic, organised by the Austrian Cultural Forum Warsaw in cooperation with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Created by a student team, the game draws on motifs from Austrian folklore and was further developed after the competition with the support of industry mentors. In May 2026, the project was presented at Digital Dragons in Kraków.

During the showcase at the Austrian Cultural Forum, visitors will be able to play Frau Perchta at dedicated game stations, meet the creators and learn more about the development process – from the first idea during Culture Jam to its presentation at an industry event.

At 19:00, the team will give a short presentation of the project, followed by a Q&A. Afterwards, visitors are invited to continue playtesting, talk to the team and take part in an informal exchange around games, digital culture and cooperation between cultural institutions and the game-dev community.

The event is open not only to people from the games sector, but to everyone interested in digital culture, new forms of storytelling and the connection between culture and technology.

The evening is also planned to include Krampus, the winning project of the first edition of Culture Jam.
