EN:

The workshops “What Does Austria Sound Like?” offer an interactive insight into the diversity of the German language in Austria and other German-speaking countries. Participants explore differences between Standard German and regional dialects, learn about historical backgrounds, and compare lexical features with Polish. Through practical exercises in pronunciation, communication, and dialects in music or everyday games, language becomes a lively and experiential medium. The aim is to raise awareness of linguistic diversity, reflect on intercultural differences, and foster enjoyment in using language in an engaging and educational way.
