7th Urban Technology Trade Fair
Smart City Expo Poland

An event dedicated to urban technologies that are shaping the reality of cities. The goal of the Smart City Expo Poland fair is to promote sustainable development, improve residents' quality of life, and support cooperation between the public and private sectors. The fair is aimed at companies offering a wide range of products and solutions that improve the urban ecosystem.

This year, the Austrian Cultural Forum will have the pleasure of presenting, together with the Interdisciplinary Scientific Circle Smart City of the Warsaw University of Technology, a booth featuring Dr. Christoph Müller at the Smart City Expo.

Dr. Christoph Müller studied architecture at TU Wien, graduating with honors in 2012. The subject of his thesis was a design reflecting on the coexistence of rich and poor in the urban space of future cities, using the city of Bern, Switzerland, as an example. Christoph Müller is a founding member and active participant of the research group HAUS (humanoids in architecture and urban spaces), led by Oliver Schürer. Alongside his practical work in cultural production and teaching at TU Wien, the University of Innsbruck, and the University of Art and Design Linz, he completed his doctoral dissertation "Bewegende Architektur" (Moving Architecture) using art-based research methods at TU Wien, graduating with honors in 2016. Since then, his key work has been the further development of the "moving architecture modules" (bAm) described in that dissertation. Among his most notable achievements are participation in international conferences such as "advanced building skins" in Graz in 2015, "rese arch" in Bratislava in 2015 and in Prague in 2017, the "ars electronica" Festival via the "Stadtwerkstatt Linz" in 2017, and "future of demonstration" in Vienna in 2017.
