EUNIC Warszawa - Noc Kobiet
Panel discussion
The discussion will be held in English.

Women's presence in the electronic music scene is becoming increasingly stronger, but just like in any other spheres of life in a still male-dominated culture – it requires a continuous effort towards change. Female DJs, producers, and event organisers inspire local communities; they prove that it is possible to create programmes based on equality regardless of gender and background. In the run-up to the party Noc Kobiet at the Jasna 1 club, we will ask artists from different parts of Europe about their experiences and reflections on the feminisation of club culture.

Panelists: Rosa Anschütz (AT), NCOL (CZ), Raven (DE/CA), Yen Sung (PT), Anna Haleta (IL/UA), Esta Polyesta (NL), Micaela Saraceno (ET), Daisy Cutter (PL), Ylia (ES).

The EUNIC Warsaw Cluster has been operating since 2007 and has currently about 30 active members, associates and partners within the umbrella organisation EUNIC Global (European Union National Institutes for Culture). We aim to create effective partnerships and networks between National Institutes for Culture, embassies and other organisations within Poland, the European Union and in third countries. Our goals are to promote cultural diversity and understanding between European societies and to strengthen international dialogue and cultural cooperation, applying a cross-cutting approach to culture that includes inter alia arts, science, education, and research.
