STAND UP - Workshop on responding to harassment in public spaces
Organizers: Lambda Warszawa, Unipride, Fundacja Feminoteka, L’Oreal Paris, Right To Be, Austrian Cultural Forum
Do you know how to respond if you witness harassment in a public space? Or perhaps you’ve experienced it yourself and aren’t sure how to protect yourself?
Join us for a free training session organized in collaboration with the Feminoteka Foundation, as part of the "Stand Up Against Street Harassment" campaign – a global initiative by L’Oréal Paris and Right To Be (formerly Hollaback!), a U.S.-based organization focused on combating harassment.
During this training, you’ll learn the 5D Method – five simple, effective ways to respond to harassment:
Distract
Delegate
Document
Direct
Delay
These tools empower you whether you are a bystander or directly affected. They help you regain a sense of agency, feel safer, and show that harassment is never acceptable.
The session will be led by a certified Feminoteka trainer, trained by Right To Be, who has years of experience in anti-harassment education and building safer, more supportive communities.
Who is this training for?
For anyone who wants to learn how to respond with empathy, courage, and awareness – without putting themselves at risk, but with a real impact.
Together, we can make public spaces safer for everyone.
