Workshops from the “Smart Cities” series, Vol. 2.
Organized by: Austriackie Forum Kultury/KN Smart City PW

What are the general issues concerned with global change? Why do we need to adapt to and mitigate climate change consequences? Why do we have to worry about water resources? During the meet these issues will be explored and discussed along with key concepts like the usage of grey water, energy and nutrient recovery from waste water in buildings and much more.

The workshops will include a series of lectures held by experienced professionals and researchers specializing in water management in urban spaces. Among the speakers will be special guest Ernst Schriefl from the Austrian company Schöberl & Pöll GmbH, as well as Tomasz Kijewski and Tymon Zieliński from the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot. The topics discussed will serve as a starting point for in-depth analysis and group discussions.

Additional guest speakers may also join, and the program will feature accompanying attractions and surprises to enrich the workshop experience and provide opportunities for informal exchange.
